When Neo was just waking up after the opening, I thought Carrie-Ann Moss had grown some sort of monster mole in the time between the first and second movie, then I was like, "Oh, it's one of those socket things" |

The reason for the Sex/Rave scene was obvious. Neo and Trinity never had time alone together. That was emphasised through-out the entire movie. The Rave was there to show the since of companionship and untiy the people of Zion felt for each other. It was a celebration of the entire city. Also you'll notice that its the only time that Trinity and Neo have alone, when the entire city was preocuppied. Which lead to the sex scene which could also imply that Trinity gets pregnant??

She sure is IMO !
I think the rave scene was to show some great difference between the Machines and mankind. These whole scenes were so animalic and wild, that it can be seen as a antithesis to the cold logic of th machines! That makes the scene very useful! |

In addition, the guy who sits on the ship monitors the code so he too would know if there was a special program in the cookie/candy.

Just wondering, does anyone know of a website or somthing with pictures of the "backdoors" and more pics of the source and stuff?
I need some reference pics for a project im working on... thanks if you can help. [edit: the "project" im workin on, is a Matrix CS Map. The main part of the map will be the hallway of backdoors. The objective will be the Terrorists trying to bomb the source and the counter- terrorists protecting it. Each "backdoor" will lead (like in the movie) to a different :map:.. These will be "pieces" of commonly played maps ::slightly changed:: An example would be one door leading to the hallway very similar to the one in de_dust...im hoping i can get it done as i think it would be fun to play. 2 big problems come up..1) design - must be effective and fun...2) getting it to look how i want it . ] Concept i just cooked up for it: [i know the textures and positioning and stuff arent right, i just did it so i could get my idea base straight ] Last edited by Khronos; 2003-05-23 at 11:45 PM. |

Theory: 24956
Neo and Trinity are set up by the Oracle so that Neo choses the door on the left. Theory: 24957 The Architect didn't think that Neo could save Trinity, much less act as a human difibrulator, so maybe something he can't prevent is happening. Theory: 24958 A climactic battle between Seraph and Neo will be in the third movie. Theory: whogivesashit Smith posessed the guy who is unconcious next to neo. they will likely battle in the real world soon. |

Most people who said it sucked think so because they expected another movie as good as the Matrix. That was a sure fire way of being disapointed, of course it's not as good as the matrix, first of all the original is nearly always better than the sequels, second the thing MANY people forget about Reloaded is that it's in the same situation has Two Towers, it's an in between movie, it starts and ends in the middle of a story so naturally it can't be a huge hit.

Bout what smith did to the guy who used the phone, as i see it smith is obsessed whit killing neo now, so he took over another guys mind when he copied himself and gave him the same obsessions and toughts like himself, kill neo.
but the big question for me, is how did neo sense and stop the sentinels unless they're still in some matrix? Anyways, i loved the movie..... kick ass effect and some nice philosofical discussions. |

In the first film if you remember Morpheus says that whatever happens to the body inside The Matrix the Mind makes it real. So when Agent Smith took control of the rebel then The mind made it real making Smiths mind inside of his mind. Get what I mean? Answer for number 2 is..... Neo is a computer program or so the creator said. We reckon that the other 5 Matrix' are still alive and some of us reckon that there is a matrix in a matrix in a matrix Meaning what Neo and crew think is the real world is actual Matrix number 5. Break free from number 5 and your in number 4 etc etc. So Neo also has power in the "real world" but he is just discorvering it. They were our thoughts |
