How many people currently play on a server? Anyone ever play Asherons Call, comparitive to that?

any general info, bugs, updates, content? stuff i wont find on the site that they dont advertise...

Ah yes, the long past days of asherons call...damn I miss that game.

I can't really remember how many people would usually be in the AC world..around 2-5k per server or so? Well the devs kinda messed up by only opening 2 servers for the first week or so of PS so basically Emerald and Markov are severely overpopulated at the moment, usually they exceed 3-4 thousand during peak hours.

Besides being a very repetitive game (ie. find a base to hack, hack it, wait 15 minutes, repeat), its pretty fun...

Tribes 2 is a comparable game, minus the HORRIBLE HORRIBLE launch bugs Tribes 2 had....

Except you can't fly and Ski.

vanu have jump jets that are a 3-5 sec burst and thats it.

I know it's nothing like ac as far as game play, but about skills decelopment etc..but you still answerd that question...

currently, i can prolly get about 3-500 USD for my AC account...

The physics? Gravity doesn't apply to bullets, but it does apply to everything else. The gravity on Auraxis is pretty low while you are falling, but you aren't able to jump much higher than knee level. You can slide down huge hills like Tribes, but you have no jumpjets that allow you to go up.

I heard it was something like Halo, but I don't even own an Xbox.

I think Markov, the prime west coast server, never really gets overloaded, but it does have a fair number of people on it. Emerald is the only overloaded server.

It's a bit like Halo when re: damage takes when falling.

However one can't jump as high and one can't flip vehicles that have tipped over. (Which'd be nice to do.)

Pay $10 more to get it a day early - or put that $10 saved towards a months' worth of play.
