Anyone else notice that lag got worse again on Friday and Sat. ?

After the last announced patch(the one that let you set data transfer rate) I saw marked improvement in lag issues.

Before that patch it had got to the point that any battle with more than 10 people was impossible. I was waiting over 30 seconds just for gun reloads.

After that patch it was way better, lag at its worst was maybe 1 second of waiting.(thats not good but its playable).

On Friday I noticed the lag was getting bad again and on Saturday night it seemed to be as bad as ever.(And I play on Konried so its not an over crowded server issue).

Anyone have an Idea whats going on? I wonder if maybe the servers need to be reset every 2 days or something? Or do you thinks its possible they put in another undocuument patch?

I think it may be your machine; what do you have running? What's your processor, and is your video card up to snuff? I get no lag now, but originally, before I updated my video card driver, I would get lag, and then after 2 minutes of play time, PlanetSide would close. But then I updated my driver and everything was fine.

I agree ... still had some lag here after the patch, upgraded the drivers and now only the occasional incident. Upgrading memory to 1gig ... never thought I see that happen! Should be much better after that.

After the patch it ran great(or at least good) for 3 days. It ran wel when it foirst came out too. This is machine lag - its packet loss or lag. The game playes very smooth but there is a huge delay on doors, reloads, and the like.

My comp is 2.65P4/1gis of 333DDR ram/Ti4200(The vid card isnt great but its not bad considering I keep the graphics on mefdium)

I do have a 56 k, which I figure is part of the issue. But if the game can run good some days it should be consistant.
