I am simply defending a good friend from a blatent ripoff, and dont dare compare this to EQ. People sell EQ characters for $2,000 because they take 2 years to get to that point, not 2 months of hardcore gaming.

A lot of people including myself hate leveling. Being able to just load up what weapons you want then go is my idea of a fun FPS. to get to BR 20 and high CR it takes a lot of leveling and some will pay to avoid having to deal with this.

1. SOE will dissable the account if they catch you
2. It takes a couple months casual gaming, or a couple weeks hardcore to get br20 cr5 (game has been out for 3 weeks, several cr4s, a couple cr5s, 5million br 16-20s)
3. Buying a char is just sad imo im sorry, but I really think that it is.....
4. In this game, other than the orbital cannon at cr 4-5, you can do ANYTHING at lvl 3 that you can at lvl 20, sure you wont have half of the certs in game, but even by lvl9 you will will be able to have more than enough to do anything you want.... Its not like EQ where a lvl 5million will crush 10million lower lvls

I even posted in the O.F trying to get an answer on this and no one can seem to find where it says this. The admins won't even respond

You cannot sell SOE accounts (I say SOE accounts because that's what they are, they do not belong to you). Well you can but they will ban your account if they catch you doing it. Read the agreement you've clicked accept on 100s of times there's all sorts of neat things in there

You know, I can see paying for an EQ account. I wouldn't do it, but I can see someone wanting to save themselves 3 years of work. Buying a PS account is just sad. Oooo you saved yourself a month of work...that you would have done anyway
