Corpse Drag for Adv. Medics

Yesterday, an Adv. Medic was rezzing his squadmates outside of a tower I was sniping at. All it did was provide me with extra kills.

Adv. Medics need an ability similar to /corpse in EQ so that they can drag their squadmates to safety before rezzing.

Limitations should include:

1) Cannot drag while in Infil suit
2) Can only drag 1 corpse at a time

Why limit that to the medics?

As a soldier I should be able to get my buddy out of harm's way where he can be saved.

Hmmm - not a bad idea - dunno how difficult it would be to implement.

Great!

Hello,

Yeah, this is a great idea. I was trying to revive a guy in a hall last night, and the enemy were shooting down it. There was no way for me to get the applicator to select him where he was, and reviving him there would have just gotten him killed again frankly. I would have loved the ability to drag him out of the hall into the room I was in! All soldiers should have the ability, but such a task should require them to holster all of their weapons and not be able to use them while dragging.

Maybe one day we will get such a cool ability!

8-)

To avoid exploit imo.

Imagine, 5 people with Surge implant, running towards a base, each dragging a corpse.

1 Adv. medic running behind them in Infiltration suit (for safety).

Original 5 finds a safe spot in the base with low traffic (ie, Bio Lab in Bio Lab Bases). Adv. Medic rezzes the 5 dead. Suddenly you have 10 people inside the base but probably attracted less attention due to only 5 people heading there. Combine with an Adv. Hacker for equip term hack, you could have 5 MAXes inside the base without anyone noticing.

You could put it in place I guess. I just foresee problems if opened to all.

Didn't you read that other guy's post?

He said that you shouldn't be able to do that while in an infiltration suit.

You already said that it should be limited by making it so that infiltrators can't revive like that.

Why would you picture a scenero with it then? /boggle

I think it would be a great addition to the game to be able to pick up a fallen buddy on your shoulder and take him to safety (or drag him/her).

Simple rules-

No one can carry a max
No max can carry anyone
No inf can carry anyone
You cannot use weapons while lugging anyone about
Your movement is reduced
Your stam gets used up

That is the best idea I've read in a long time, and the exploit sounds like a valid tactic. Good thinking. If you post this on the OF, post the link here, and I'll support it.
