hmmmm, tho what would happen if a guy paradrops alittle too early and misses the ledge of the base? It would be a LONG fall.

It would be hard to make really impressive sky bases unless they increase the flight ceiling.
Well, I know they've got room to work with, I managed (by shear and very weird accident) to launch my Galaxy OVER 1000m into the air. And their weird part... I was trying to land.
