Stop w/ the Jackhammer complaints!

Now look, I know I'm NC, so you're probably going to say "oh, no, he's just defending it cuz he relies on it" Well no. I couldn't care less what happens to it. Nerf it into a 3-barreled Mag Scatter, whatever. I do care about the fact that whenever I come here, there's alway 5 or 6 threads about how the jackhammer is overpowered, every1 who uses it has no skill, blah blah blah. It's got to stop.

There is NO POINT TO POSTING THAT HERE. Some of you may be in denial about it, but the developers do NOT go through these forums for ideas. I can guarantee you will never see in patch notes "Due to complaints at Planetside Universe, the Jackhammer has been weakened to make it less overpowered." All you're doing is showing off how much of a n00b you are BY NOT EVEN GOING TO THE RIGHT FORUMS. Maybe you're lost. If that's the case, here are the official forums:

People who complain about it should really try using one. It aint the best weapon for alot of situations and definately has it's shortcomings.

Well, scanning the first page of the main forum, I see two threads started by people with the intention to defend the jackhammer, and no threads started by people with the intention to attack the jackhammer.

Personally, what I would like to see stop is people complaining about complainers. They always, always overstate the extent of the original complaint, and are additionally off-topic. At least the original complaint was actually pertinent to discussing the game of planetside, while this is just spam.

If you have a problem with people discussing planetside, which the Jackhammer is a part of, maybe you should be the one to stop posting. Until then, learn to live with the hot topics of the day, even if you don't like them. People want to talk about the Jackhammer, obviously, so they will.

Yes, they have a right to complain about whatever they want.

Personally I think Jackhammer is fine.

I am a Vanu who used the sweeper shotgun primarily.
I do very good with it at close range until I come up against a NC witha Jackhammer. They almost always win. They spent 4 points to get their jackhammer, so they deserve it.

Perhaps the other 2 heavy assault weapons should be beefed up(smaller COF for the MCG and faster projectiles for the lasher), but the jackhammer is fine.

Leveling isn't all that hard in this game. Hell I'd probably have a br 20 and a br 12ish if I wasn't having...issues...with PS going all out fucking bonkers after 5-15 minutes of play. Wasn't so bad at launch but since tis last patch I can hardly play. But anyways I digress

I'd be a lot less of a critic of the Jackhammer if people weren't regularly such retards about defending it. I don't want it nerfed, I just want it to get some vaguely logical advocates.

It IS on the overpowered side, which is fine, I suppose, for now. I'm waiting to see if they do any followup work on boosting the VS before I cry foul on the JH.

Leveling is pretty easy if you can just get max 5000 xp caps and string em together. You just gotta know where to be. Personally i think it's easier leveling the first 3 BRs in the field than in VR. It's really all about the soi and being in it.
