Same here. A very good idea. I think it would be supported by many and might actually have a chance of making it into the game.

Yeah its a great idea =)

It is (supposedly) already implememented in Team Fortress 2.
(The ranger class can carry corpses back to the medics)
But who knows if/when that will ever come out.

I have to agree! I'll say this, though, when you're dragging a corpse you're giving yourself an additional burden. Those 5 people trying to 'sneak into the base' might have only a marginally easier time than if they just rolled up in a sunder and piled out. Sounds valid to me. Anything involving a visible individual dragging a visible corpse around, no matter how clever the outcome, doesn't sound like an exploit to me, really.

Time for /corpse! I'm an advanced medic now, and I've already run into situations where this would be useful.

Yeah!

Me and my outfit leader were talking about this the other day. He is an advanced medic, and dragging a corpse to cover would be great. Just make the person drag in walk mode, with weapons holstered.

Why not let cloaokers use this. I even think we should be allowed to remain cloaked while doing it. What is wrong with a big, bulky, and highly visible body on our cloaked shoulder? Or are we too weak to pick up a body because we have less armor?

Then we'll get elves, and epic weapons, and dancing ogres, and an expansion where we go to the moons of Auraxis, and..

Oh, sorry. Where were we?
It's a good idea, but it might be tough to implement - it would be very easy to grief by dragging people's corpses every which way (and a consent system in PS would be rather cumbersome.) If you could get people (like me!) to not instinctively click out even when there are medics around, though, this could make for some very interesting gameplay.

Thanks for all the positive responses

I personally don't see this feature being an "animation" per say...

I doubt they would spend the resources to program it so that the wounded person's corspse would actually show up on the shoulders of the person "dragging" them.

I really think a system similar to what's in EQ would be fine. For those of you that don't know, I'll explain.

In EQ, you can currently drag a person's corpse around if you receive their consent. Dead person would type /consent Riyu, and Riyu (me) would receive a message saying I'm allowed to drag the corpse. I would then either type /corpse or macro a hotkey to have /corpse typed automatically. Each time I typed or pressed the hotkey, the corpse would come exactly to my position. The limitation is that I am within range of the corpse. Feels to be around 20 feet or so.

If anyone would like to post this on the official forums, please feel free. I can't access them from work anyways.

Thanks and hope to kill you soon!
