Problem with exp and greif system.

I have found that you get no exp if the same blast that kills you also kills the enemy. This is also true with greif. Essentially, someone could go in a crouded AMS, plant a boomor and detonate. As long as the blast got them too, they would get no greif.

Are you sure? when you die the console does not show you getting exp from your kill or from others in your squad or a base cap, but you still get the exp. Its just the console doesnt show it as a message. Im pretty sure this goes for Grief as well.

the problem with greif -

when someone hits you <=== Their Fault
you get grief alos <======= SOE faults

yea i know. Sometimes i walk through a cap bases and a haraser, ams, or ANt comes by hit's me and i get like 12 grief. it pisses me off even tho 12 id not that much.

I have 774 grief from getting a tank stolen.

See, a buddy of mine and I were screwing around during a base cap last night. He was nailing me with his mag-rider, and I was trying to take him down with a Lasher.

This was happening over the course of like 10 minutes, mind you. At one point, a guy named PoX annihilates me in a mosquito. While respawning, someone took Riker's Mag-rider. I respawn, run back and start unloading with my Lasher.

+30, +60, +90, +120...oh shit....+150...

Then that PoX guy starts shooting at me again. So I shot him. I figured "jesus, what's another couple grief".

Bad figure.

Although, I also think it's stupid that if I get run over, I get ANY grief at all. I didn't MEAN to do the 1 armor point of damage to the tank, or sunderer or whatever it was. I've even been pasted by a reaver.
