Bandolier

Why do we stick grenades in pistol slots? Hasn't anyone heard of a bandolier?
I propose that grenades are like knives, and hitting 6 brings one out.
Hitting X changes it from Frag to Plasma to Jam. This would make grenades more common, promoting more tactical warfare. I rarely see grenades used by anyone besides Infils and crazy people. Getting one into your slot 1 or 2 is suicide while you hit I and drag, and click, and so forth.

I like the idea, atm in my current inv with striker ammo I always have a row at the bottom of my inventory which I can only fill with nades.

However I am an ADV. Medic and Combat engineer and need to carry ACE's med applicator, bank thingie etc. so I never have nades in my pistol slot. Therefore to use a grenade I have to select one of the applicators in my pistol slot, drop some ammo, stick the applicator in the inventory then select a grenade and put it in the pistol slot, totally not worth it in most situations.

If a grenade is in one of your pistol slots and you have more grenedes in you inventory, you don't have to click and drag every time.

I can only imagine the slobbering hordes of infiltrators that would drool a path to your front door if you got this implemented. no more having to open your inventory just to get out a fuggin grenade.

I use my two pistol slots for a medic, and a engineer gun. I haven't used grenades since exclusive beta.

They're pretty good in certain situations, and I could fit a few grenades into some of my favorite loadouts, but I wouldn't sacrifice my medic/engie gun combo for them.

So yeah, sounds like a good idea.

Being as I'm a combat engy, it becomes very hard to carry around nades when you have a buncha ACE's, plus the bank thing. I dumped my caulk gun. And i still have to have room for my sniper bullets and regular ammo for the cycler.

I demand larger inventories!

Definitely a good idea.

Have no issue with Grednades taking up inventory space. Just would be nice if it didn't require a pistol slot.

However..the thought of Midnight Stealth Grenaders that only grendade at Midnight scares me. /shiver
