PS download sites

does anybody know any place other than fileplanet to download the 7 day trial from, i don't have a pay account and neither does any of my friends (they want to try it). If anybody does know of a site other than fileplanet to download from that would be great.

Wouldn't worry about it, they open up just about everything after a week or so, the only thing that was big and stayed subscriber I know of offhand was the Chrome demo.

I wish they'd take the same approach as World War 2 Online did.

With WW2OL you can download the game and get a 7-day trial (anyone can, no fileplanet bullshit). Then at the end of your trial, you can choose to bugger off or start paying to play!

I swear there would be alot more players if they did this.

Games that are pay-to-play should always at least cost less than other games if you were to buy them, considering that you are going to be paying every month from then on anyway.

I guess that will never happen though as long as its an SoE game. They seem to care very little about the gamers, always trying to take their every penny and never bother trying to hold on to them with new and improved gameplay, only new content to drive the addiction. (EverQuest anyone?)
