Can somone give me their 7-day trial key?

hmmm... who hasnt been using their 7 day trial things.... i bet all of you people havn't used that thing - i was wondering... if we all gave our cd keys to this one person - say 50 people gave him their 7 day trial cd keys.... that guy could play up to 50x7 - 350 free days of planetside.. hmmm whats that? A YEAR OF FREE PLANETSIDE CUZ 50 PEEPS THAT DIDNT USE THEIR CD KEYS GAVE THEM TO ME!! hahahaha lmfao - and SOE goes bankrupt...

u aint gona get 1, i mean 5000 peeps that play ps, u think 1 of em would giv their key to u an risk them loosing their accounts? i wouldn't.

Most if not all of the 7 day trial keys that came with the game when we bought it were misprinted and actually didn't have the key on them. I know mine was blank.

Okay first off let me tell you something. You can't get a CD key from anyone else. When ever everyones accounts were created we all used 1 week for free. The Cd key you get is the one that then is activated to your account. I.E. I give you my key, Now you try to subscribe with that key. You will get and invalid key message during the subscription. I have tried this once already with my Girls account was trying to get it so we could both play at the same time.

So in other words you are never going to get a Key unless someone is stupid enough to purchase this game. Give you the Key allow you to log on and suscribe and use their 7-days free. Then they will have lost $50, by purchsing the game and you now have the CD key locked to your account never to be released. This is the major reason that game stores that allow you to trade in games will not take trade in of an online game. Your best bet. Since you kind of like the look of the training is to purchase the game. Get your key, start and account. You will get 7 days free after you suscribe for a 1 month subscription. I.E. you tell SOE you will pay for 1 month, but the 1st 7 days are free and if you cancel in that time you will not be billed. If you don't like it cancel the subscription. Then you are stuck with a game that you don't like and can't do anything with. So buy the game like it and pay for it. That is the only thing you can do. If you don't like paying for a game like this. Then don't f-ing buy it.

Ahhh I see Madcow... this must be an american thing, as the UK version of Planetside (also is boxed differently to the US version) doesnt even MENTION extra 7 day trial keys.

So it must be a US only thing.

My advise to you is:

EARN YOUR OWN MONEY

I say that in a nice, but stern way.

Its what I did when I was your age. Its what many young people do, and there is nothing more rewarding than going out off your backside and doing something for yourself, and being paid for it!

It could be as simple as washing cars, or a paper boy. But its cold hard cash all the same.

Now, don't give me that bullsh*t about not having a credit card - because you can buy game cards!!!

And that doesn't wash either because you can still get a DEBIT CARD. A debit card works on the same principle of a credit card with one major difference - you are not borrowing money!

A debit card will take money straight from your bank account (you americans call them checking accounts).

Debit cards work on the Visa/Mastercard system and appear no different to a credit card (unless you are in the UK in which case there are also Solo/Switch and Electron debit cards).

ANYONE can get a bank account. You don't need to be 18 to get one, as you are not being given credit, you are simply obtaining another means to spend/withdraw your OWN EARNT CASH... if theres no money in your bank account, you can't spend!

Visit your local bank, and ask for details. However, it may be advisable to bank at the same bank as your parents, I'm not clear on how US banks work.

Wolf, we were all given a free month of playing (not a week). What he is referring to was a paper that was CD sized inside the US packaging which on one side stated that you should give the piece of paper to a friend so that they could try Planetside for free for 7 days. It also said to let your friend borrow the installation CDs. Lastly, it said that a special 7 day trial CD key was on the back of the piece of paper where it unfortunately wasn't. I would assume that this 7 day trial thing through Fileplanet is now partially because this misprint cost them some possible free advertising through friends getting other friends hooked.

Why would someone give out their free 7-day key to a begging stranger, when they could give it to a RL friend and get an in-game posse going?
