Well, about the ones that you have yet to see, here is a short blip on each of them....
You must go see Lain and Steel angel Kurumi, they are both very good.
You prob know what Lain is like (if you dont, just ask anyone
)
Steel Agnel Kurumi is very similar to Chobits, though not quite as deep and it lacks the dark overshadowing effect, but sorta similar ( now Chii is Kurumi and goes fighting stuff vs learning stuff
)
Berserk is another serious one, set in the medevil ages, very weard ending (very good though... ending could be better)
Child's Toy is another goofy silly one, completely w/o purpose or reason.... like.... ya.... goofyness

Crest of the Stars *and the next season* Baran of the Stars: This is a very very good story, if a bit slow... they do spend 90% of the time in just talking and not doing anything, but it is still a rather nice storyline with deep chars.
I will become an Angel is the same type of anime as Chobits, though a bit different... and a bit wearder.... take the Chobits jokes... cross it with the oddness of Eva, and remove all sanity, repeat removial of all sanity/reality several times, do it a few more times... and a few more to be sure you got all sanity/reality out, and there ya go.
