I dunno, but I do not see the over whelm use of the lasher, and I have been killed more by a Lancer then I have by a Lasher.
This may al be due to the time I play since most kiddies are tucked into their cribs when I play.
now on another note,
a couple buds of mine are VS, they play a different server then I, I check there stats time to time, since the patch, they changed their certs , and have tripled there kills. The certs show now where they can use the LASHER
so in the end,
have I seen this mass use of Lashers, no I haven't, Do I belive the storys about it, yes I do. Then again, I haven't played for a week now, DUE to game hasn't arrived yet, and 7 day trial ended 1.5 days after the patch.

TR has been since day one the most balanced faction in the game. TR is not getting "owned" now because TR has, as per always, a solid repertoire of good weapons.

I agree with this. Some TR might feel like we've been given the shaft because the last 2 buffs have gone to NC and VS, and both of those were (comparatively speaking) overkill. In the meantime the MCG has turned into a useable weapon, we have an excellent AV choice (although not as great as other factions seem to think), our medium arm is very nice and our MAXs are certainly worth the certs. Even when our MAXs got nerfed it wasn't a crippling nerf. Do I think that the Lasher needs to get smoothed out a bit? Yeah, it's a bit too strong in a bit too many situations. I don't think that makes TR any weaker, though, we can still do many things well.

I personally don't feel TR has gotten the shaft. I think the MCG, while being the weakest of the 3 is fine as a HA weapon. What we lack in HA we make up for in our Cycler, Maxes and our Striker.
