The man risked his life, and protected his charge, himself, and anyone else who by chance may have been in the building at the time, As was said, those men knew the risks when they walked into the building, much less opened fire, so the hell with them. No it doesnt haunt me... my parents were killed 2 years ago and I saw them die in front of my eyes both of them shot in the heart... I was then shot... many people know this... I just don't care about human lives or mine for a matter of fact...

I was just feeling weird because it was the first time I killed someone... I kinda enjoyed it and kinda did not at the same time... I feel like it was my revenge for my parents death...

So no it doesnt haunt me and I'm not disturbed by the fact that I could of gotten killed either... I'm just weird...

As everyone else is saying it was you or them man and you made the right choice. And whoever was talking about bobbing up and down around the shooting range, yeah it helps up your accuracy in situations like that, but try to do it when there's not a lot of people around

Hopefully this kind of shit doesn't keep happening to you over the next couple weeks/months/years. I don't agree it was entirely luck, you obviously have the skill and/or training to deal with these situations, but it's only a matter of time before you end up getting shot again if there's more and more robberies. If there is i suggest ask for more than just another temporary guy, have 2-3 other guys there with you...and like someone mentioned in the previous thread about this job...if you know a cop, or know someone who knows a cop, tell him to drop by once or twice a night for 10-20mins at a time...people won't be as eager to break in to a place full of cops

I would be more worried if you didn't feel at least a little something over it. Weird or remorse or whathaveyou. It gets a little scary when a person does that/has to do that and feels nothing.

Talk to someone about it. Preferably a councelor. Shit like that has a way of sneakin' back up on ya later, sometimes much later. Trust me, I know a little something about it.
