Continent Lock

I've seen a population lock, but I just recently read about continent lock on this forum. How is this achieved? Or did I read wrong.

I have always thought of continent lock as something acheived when you take all the bases and towers on a continent. the continent then turns a deep purple/red/blue and enemies can no longer hart into the continent.

it is acheved u take all the bases and towers on a cont and the bases on the other side of each wg

One day when Iam really bored I should try to solo-lock a continent on test server...

Yep, you would have to be very bored to do that, but with the low population on the test server it would probably actually work. Unless you happen to pick the continent with the one other person on at the time on your opposite empire.

Aren't Cont locks kinda broken right now though? I know we've locked down some of our home continents (all bases and towers on Solsar/Hossin/Cyssor) and haven't gotten the color change in the global map. I dunno maye it's just me

Yeah, they are broken ATM. Whenever a server resets, cont locks work as intended but over time do not. They really do need to fix that one ASAP but I have a feeling they have no idea what causes the bug.
