Test Drive on the C64
another game called "Alien" that i played for hours on end.

Was a PC Game, very old but very well done. You we're a general in the marines and you would have to track down aliens. It was a FPS/RTS combo game where you would have to track him down in a ship and then have a gun battle. Was awesome

I have that game I think...that's the one where you can make Dwarves with shotguns and stuff right?

I never did get around to playing it...for some reason I can't get it to work right...I upgraded my video card so I just may try it again.

Anyone ever have Sopwith? I loved that game lol

And I remember Outpost. Never could get it to work for very long though

X-Com the original is by far superior to the sequels. The sequels were fun but they turned into time sinks from hell towards the end.

Someone made a thread awhile ago. They had to search pretty hard but eventually found it in a bargain bin

Xcom: UFO Defence was, definately, the best of the series. God.. i used to have nightmared from that game. The game was so dark and shadowy and your sitting there late at night. You watch the bar move as the 'Alien Side' makes it's move (with the creepy music) then suddennly: BAM! Screen flashes back to in-game and some wicked alien with a fusion bomb launcher blows out the side of your landing craft, taking half your team out in one hit.

*curls up in bed shivering*

I do like Xcom: Apocolpyse. I love the way they let you do space ship battles.

Yeah, it was hard. You had to dig underground for most everything. One thing i noticed is you needed like 2 red light districts making "fuzzy dice" for ever 1 residential housing unit. wtf?

I just wish i could find some solid online documentation on this game. I'd love to find the old diskettes and give it a whirl.

About Arcanum; is this game really worth getting? I heard SO much about it that i've been on the edge of buying it for a long time.

What about Fallout? I hear alot about that too.

I'm looking for an immersive experience, so hook me up. *wonders why everyone's passing him a blunt*

[Edit]: Everay, your sig is freaking huge. Like... Onizuka huge. Well, almost. Put that poem on a page w a cool background and link it, or something. Peace.

1. Don't be some jerk-off who thinks the word "poem" is insulting. Theirs plenty of tight-ass poems in the world. Poe? One sick puppy. Of course we're not talking about what some pale faced liberal arts philosphy/english double major nancy boy writes. Hell no. But what's on your sig is definately a poem. A cool one at that.
2. It's too big. Stfu. It is. Don't argue.
3. Wait, what did you mean by part 1 and 2? Was there an expancion? Or a sequel? If it's a sequel is the first one worth getting?
