I thought I had been accepted into the beta when I saw it. Such cruelty. I can't bring myself to play until the balance pass, so I guess it's Chrome and Savage for me for a few more days.

I can't plug Chrome enough. If you're pissed about the delay of Half-Life 2, give it a shot. It's what I call an 'advanced shooter'. I expect the multiplayer to really rip.

Savage is cool, but hard. One guy plays the RTS inferface (like Starcraft), and the other guys play a FPS interface (like PlanetSide). Depending on how well the commander gives orders/builds the tech tree, the troops have more power, and depending on how well the troops carry out the orders, the commander can make his strategy come to life. It's pretty unique.

So many video games, so few brains.
