Everyone Read PLZ... Its about the dl before you get on PS

ok iam begining to think my internet connection is not fast enough for PS since the dl is going to take me 18:08:01 hrs..... how long did this take everyone else??? is it possible to play PS on a dial-up??? help me plz

You have to dl all the patches sooo it's gonna take awhile

but does it take that long usually?? and its not patchs i dont think its a map.pak and right now its on the dds_ui.pak is this normal?

You have to dl all the patches that we did. Except you have to dl them all at once=/

freakin dial up its bull crap aol so this is only the second patch then...... thats like 30 more to go i take it..... i guess i wont be on for like a life time but did a dl ever take you 18hrs? cause its not all the patchs put in one cause this is the second dl i did today

Well, when I first downloaded all the updates, it took 2 hours. But that was over 2 months ago.

yea i agree dont play games with dial up but i dunno what can i do misewell dl till this ones done and if anymore take 18hrs its quits till i get cable for this game

I'd suggest starting before you go to bed/school/etc. Just let it run for a bit.

And the smaller servers (Konried/Johari) are actually mostly playable with a 56K. But Emerald, Markov, and Werner are completely out of the question. Truuuust me.

And as they said, you're simply downloading ALL the patches at once. After you finish updating you'll be fine.

Yeah, ull only have to d/l those patches once, then all the patches after that will come one at a time and wont be NEAR as long. Only takes like 30 secs or so on cable.

He must think the patch he is getting now is only one out of however many we had to d.l back in the day. Your d.ling all the patches ever up to now and it will take some time, it takes maybe 45 mins of DSL to do that.

Did you select to download the Core Combat files too?

That is a large additional patch you are downloading also.

meh, it only takes 45 mins to dl the trial and patches on my comp. my advice: dont play MP games on dialup, it sux
