Something about the patch notes confuses me


When the balances on the main battle tanks shifted, then the buggy balances needed to shift accordingly. This was predominantly done by adjusting armor and some of the weaponry characteristics. The speed aspects of the various buggies were unchanged.

After the changes below were made, the relative characteristics of these buggies are as follows:

* TR Marauder: Highest damage output, average armor and slowest speed
* NC Enforcer: Most armor, average damage output, and average speed
* VS Thresher: Greatest speed, weakest armor, average damage output.

I realise that the buggies had maneuverability and speed differences before the patch, but for the most part the enforcer and the marauder handled about the same (the thresher is sort of in its own category here). So if they didn't change the speed, what did they change?

Also, good job on fixing that gigantic space in the forums.

Marauder has always been a tad slower than the Enforcer and the Thresher has always been the quickest. The adjustments were more in the firepower/armor department than anything having to do with speed.

It been about 1.5 weeks since I was on the test server but I noticed then that the thresher was running about 10kph faster than on live (70 live vs. 80 test). Did they reset this back down to match the live servers?

Not sure, they made some final tweaks last week, i know that much.

I opened fire point blank on a Skyguard with my Lightning. He returned fire almost instantaneously. He won. I was at full health.
