Heh, They're planning Diablo 3 as I stated earlier....you brought it up BTW that it was Starcraft 2 even though it isn't and I don't think Ghost is being made for PC. Just the consoles.

No they aren't planning Diablo 3, they are making a new series of games with different characters, different world not called Diablo. Visit battle.net and see their forums.

Heh, Blizzard north, the developers of Diablo stated they are. I think blizzard.com is down for some reason but they are making it.

Straight from the horses mouth:

It doesnt preclude us from doing anything else in the StarCraft universe. We certainly dont see StarCraft: Ghost as being something that replaced StarCraft II. Its just as likely that StarCraft II will be released at the same time as Ghost
Thats from Bill Roper. The main man at blizzard. So i'd definitly like to see you find a quote that says something different than that.

We can leave this subject alone if you want, but I like to clear up faulty information whenever I can. The internet has enough idiots speading rumors and false information already....

If I said starcraft ghost was starcraft 2 I didn't mean to say it that way, the point I was trying to get across was that blizzard never makes more than 4 games in a series. So Diablo 3 is out of the question.

as for blizzard never making more than one sequel to a game, warcraft 3 kinda kills that theory?

Did they say that, or is it just a theory?

starcraft is easily their most successful game ever.
What about Quake? - What was multiplayer before Quake came along?
And Tetris? - Know anyone who doesnt know what Tetris is? And think how old that game is.
And what about Half-Life? - There still tons of people playing that.
And what about Deeper Blue? - it won over the best human chess player.

It's all about how you look at it. Starcraft is properly the most successful real-time strategy game. And most people would properly say the best real-time strategy game, but that just opinions (I would properly go for Dungeon Keeper BTW).

[UPDATE] Ups sorry thought it said the and not their. But still I wouldn't say easily their most successful game ever.

Um, reread that quote. He uses the word 'their' in reference specifically to Blizzard. So that reads 'StarCraft is Blizzard's most successful game.

Thanks for the run-down, but it was misplaced.

EDIT: Bah, then you go and fix the mistake! A waist of a registration I tells ya!
