I'm okay. I actually can't see the fire from my window any more, and when I could, the fire was 3-4 miles away(I actually couldn't see it from my window, I could only see a glow, I had to walk a block to see the fie). Plus I have a freeway between me and the fire and most of the stuff north of me is burned already.

I'm gona be fine.

100 houses isn't right, I heard 200 last night and it is gona be like 300 or 400 by now.

Couple of my friends had to leave their homes, but I think the fire hasn't actually touched their houses yet.

One of my friends was working to help people evacuate all day until she went to go see a movie with me. I am very lucky I am still in my home.

One of my dad's co-workers probaly lost a home and one did for sure.

Squeeky is alive and well! He's sleeping right now (I think today's dull events have bored him to tears), and we've been hanging out (away from the computer) so before now I haven't seen the thread.

Right now he's in central Cali, and yes the fire is close to his hometown. Apparently the main interstate fwy/hwy/thingie of his town is shut down. Like... completely.

Squeeky will return to his normal posting soon (like tomorrow night or Tuesday), so be patient, folks. Thank you for watching, this has been the Squeeky Times update.

No you don't. Air is ashy, if you open the door for a while, it gets hard to breathe. Sky is pitch black, helicopters are going overhead nonstop. Seeing an orange sky all day isn't good...

Roughly 11 casualties down here, 8 in LA. About 100 houses destroyed so far.

I love that overwhelming feeling of calm that comes with things like this. Whenever i see stuff like this on tv, expecialy the on the ground seens, i always feel this huge sadness that i cant be there to experience it. 8)

Most of the world pretty much hates america. With every invasion of a small country, it gets easier to realize why. When korea agreed to stop its nuclear program for the US if the US would help them financially, big bad bush just said he wont invade them if they stop.

The US runs around trying to take nukes from everyone, while they're the only country that really used them. After killing piles of Iraqies, there was mourning for the 30 or so americans that died, in comparison, the dead Iraqies were ignored.
