Yea NC Johari seems to have a lot of CR 5 geniuses. ALthough we dont seem to suffer from some of the problems that other empires seem to complain of, for example Johari always seems to gravitate towards 1 continent brawl, more or less ignoring all else. I support this however our Cr5's (and to a lesser extent the rest of our empire) seems to get into this rutt where if our campaign hits the slightest bit of a snag we all end up defending a couple bases not trying to expland. It seems to be worse now since they nerfed the jack and made the other max's more godlike while simultaniously throwing us no bones. I dont blame everything o\n our equipment, however it is extremely hard to get a good offensive going if two tr pounder maxs can hold a tower indefinitely.

But yes a lot of our Cr5's seem to be big on concentrating our force to one cont, and then further concentrating it to one base, even yelling over continent command chat at people defending other bases to extricate and come attack that one base. I always find myself wondering, "why trade a tech plan for a bio lab".

Also I've noticed that Johari NC seem to be very anti disabling gens are spawn tubes, personally I hate having to garrison a spawn room with 10 guys when a few decimator shots to each tube better guarantee it's safety, when the fight has been going a while only unique kills count anyway so theres no reason to leave the spawns open and risk loosing the base.

In many cases that's true West but I've seen a few try and call people back to defend Cyssor when there is one Vanu base (the one that's always a freaking Vanu base) no hacks on any other bases and no hotspots =\

Wait till you get CR5, hamma, then maybe you'll understand a bit more about what's going on.

currently there's two camps in Emerald TR CR5. there's the "active command" group (myself, ash, hedron, aztek, Jungle, MCB, etc) who want to go for the daily win. this involves moving people around to push up the base count, and hopefully have a great fight while we're at it. then there's Morphius, Frank, and a couple of others who prefer to hit Ishundar or Forseral while it's being hammered / doubleteamed, pop-lock it, and bash away over the same base or two for the next few hours. I ain't saying either strat is right, it really boils down to how you want to play it.

as for getting people to recall to home continents, it should be very (and I mean VERY) rare that you'll get a recall order when there isn't at least 50 or so people to fight on that continent. the very first thing that happens when the enemy puts hacks on is that a couple of CR5s recall instantly to scout, pull in a squad or so to secure, and if that succeeds you folks will never even know it's happened. if we find there's 20+ people hitting the base, we'll /Comsan asking for help : normally this will bring in enough people to stop the hack. if the continent opens up, and we're getting a beating, then we'll global asking (I repeat ASKING) for help. we're not expecting everyone to suddenly drop what you're doing and hart in, although that is the most effective way to stop the enemy. but at the very least, you can guarantee there'll be a good fight when you arrive.

now, personally, I find the double-team continent bash a pain in the ass, so if we have cery locked, forseral locked, and ish is getting raped I'll take folks to searhus, or solsar, anywhere but Ish. but hey, that's just my strat.

Markov - VS

On Markov this doesn't happen as much. Almost to a fault our CR5's stay and fight until the bitter end. When we get beaten down on one front, we go back and start a fight somewhere else on the same continent. We usually end up all recalling and then coordinating a massive drop on a base with a lattice link.

Is kind of cool to see.

I believe the command structure needs to be re-done. When there are 20 CR5s on all wanting to do different things nothing ever really gets done. Us grunts need a voice too.
I think there should be a system in place that allows the election of a single leader, a system where everyone in a empire would vote. We could have elections once a month maybe and if the empire is dis-satisfied with the leader the could recall him or her with a majority vote. The leader would have the ability to turn off a dis-obedient CR5's global chat and would also other abilities like always being able to see thier empire's population distibution on each continent and the ability to assign a temporary commander in his absence.

I just think the empires need more structure and with an absolute leader i belive things will hopefully be more organized

Mango totally agree. There have been several ideas like that thrown around, I hope in the future they will put a little more thought into command structure and changing a commanders map etc... like the ability to see individual squad leaders, select them and possibly ask them where to go and give them an objective like taking out the gens or something.

Would be a great tool. Would make commanders something like from Savage or Natural Selection and they could do more commanding and less fighting.

I agree with you Mango, but if we had an election for leaders, we would always have the same leaders. This could be good and bad. What if he was a good leader, but someone that just really started to lead squads and such were really great, what would we do then? We wouldnt ever know about the 2nd guy cuz the 1st leader has point and we would never see any other great leaders there might be.

Maybe just to elaborate on the election thing, there could be command ranks. @ anytime someone could type /rankpromote "name" and that person would get a Command "Vote". After so many they advance ranks and could then talk in Global/Cont./whatever based on their Command Rank.

Its kinda like the old one but this way the players as a majority would be picking the leaders. Of course there would have to be restrictions on voting. But we'll leave that technical stuff to the devs.

(I dont know if this has been said or not, its just an Idea.)

Well, this is one of the reasons I've removed myself from the Dragonwolves. I actually tend to agree with Fingerbob and the others for several reasons: first, if they issue a recall order I'm almost ALWAYS guaranteed a bang-up fight on that continent. Secondly, I guess this is just a nervous tick from being on Konried so long... but I usually go off to give the enemy something to shoot at. I've invaded a lot of continents hoping to see the enemy show up, only to be disappointed. I HATE it when it happens. Ergo, I extend the courtesy of shooty death to my enemies when they come to me in the hopes they'll do the same eventually.
