Admins-do we need more?

This just came to mind when hamma said that he doesn't have enough time to update cc info because he's constantly watching the forums.

The question is, do we have an admin shortage or is there just not a full time admin (meaning a admin constantly watching the PSU forums)?

nah, half the people here dont even play PS anymore. I think were fine. its not our decision anyways.

Buggerhost is talking about a webmaster, not board admin.

Could he even do that? I know some gaming companies got sued for having unpaid "employees." (advisors, ARKs, etc) Actually I don't know how any board has unpaid moderators without falling under the same ruling...

I'm just saying that from what it sounded like, he is watching these forums more than he's watching the site. I'm just saying do we need a new shepard to watch all these forums or do we need the current admins to be put on full alert?

And this isn'et a gaming company, its a fansite. Non of the staff are getting paid anything for being here....or are they?

Technically Hamma is taking in money. I don't know if PSU is set up as a non profit organization... If it is, then he could have unpaid employees even though he is taking in money.

(And even though he may not use the money he gets in to do anything but cover costs, I am pretty sure you need to be considered non-profit legally.)

The money is for the site only; he gets money, he pays is net rent, he puts extra money in piggy bank for next months cost/beer.

Anyway, like it or not PSU lives and dies by PlanetSide. If PlanetSide ceases to exist this site will cease to exist. I'm not here to provide a general gaming forum and community, I am here to provide a PlanetSide gaming forum and community. I still have a great deal of fun playing PlanetSide and I don't see my interest running out soon. I love this game and love this community.

Geez Ein, just because you don't play doesn't mean the rest of us have given it up. Like Hamma, I still enjoy the game and the people, I plan to stay 'til they close the shuttle. Keep up the great work Hamma and staff.
