POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT. OOOOOOH, AHHHH
Okay. This was stolen directly from the other forums I browse. The most logical conclusion the the M:R movie yet. The whole thing was a question of, "Can God create a rock so heavy he can't lift it." 1) The Architect is an OS 2) The Oracle is a program on the system that is capable of writing other programs. (God's strength) 3) Smith is an anti-virus 4) Neo is a virus created by the Oracle (the rock) 5) Each version of Neo that came before was a "ligther rock" that God (Smith) was able to lift with the world in general (the OS) going about it's business uneffected. 6) Programs on the sytem that don't have a purpose, are deleted. 7) Once Smith beat Neo, Smith had no purpose on the system (until the Oracle gets a bug up her ass and decides to write a virus again) 8) Smith, in his attempts to kill Neo (clean the virus) was deleting other programs (creating more smiths) 9) Once Smith devoured the Oracle, he had the key to destroy Neo.

Derfud's theory makes more sense, at least to me.
Another thing to think about is the Oracle representing the urge to change things while her opposite, the Architect, struggles to keep everything the same. I think people put a little too much emphasis on the architect's speech at the end of Reloaded. No one ever said he couldn't lie

K now these thearys are confusing me.
I think Spees makes more sence than derfud, from the first movie remember when Smith was with Morpheus? He claimed he couldn't classifie him as a mamal, but a virus. Smith is part of the program, the white cells that cleans out the viruses. Nother reason why I think Neo is a virus.....hacking. Neo isn't apart of the system...well....he was....but he aint no more. He's the one that breaks all the rules. I haven't seen Revolutions yet though.....so my theory isn't completed. But since Smith gets Neos powers (Thats what i heard), Smith becomes the Virus/anti virus also......or he already has in Reloaded (since he spreads to different bodys). As i said, me need Rev. to conclude my theory. |

Or perhaps you're reading a bit too much into Smith's attempt to break Morpheus' will?
