this is it! Its finally almost winter! WHICH MEANS ITS TIME TO GO SKIING! I'm going to be up on the slopes in less than 12 hours but sadly I found out there isn't a ton of snow yet so it isn't the time to use my brand new Rossignols cuz they'd probauly get all wrecked and then I'd have to repair them which is a pain in the ass!
I know probauly the vast majority of you that actually care about snow and mountains probauly snow board but it doesn't matter! Snow sports kick ass! So who is psyched up for this years winter?

We're getting our first snow tonight.
On a related note, I was at Aspen when Michael Kennedy ate that tree. I remember the helicopter, although I didn't see him.

Some clarification is needed. Yes, I live in Miami, but I was born in Detroit, and I was there for five years. I've seen snow and I can tolerate cold a lot better than most of my classmates.
You know how to kill South Floridians? Turn their A/C to 60.

I'm currently stationed in Misawa, Japan; which is in the northern part of Japan. I cannot wait for it to start snowing. It's the best snow that I've ever seen. Last year, we had a record low of 130 inches. And Misawa is not even in the mountains. The mountains get an even more rediculous amount of snow. I enjoy both skiing and snowboarding, so this is pretty much heaven for me. I have to do as much as I can before January, though. I'm getting stationed in Virginia. And somehow, I'm guessing that they don't get this kind of weather.

I was going to go this weekend to Mt. Snow, but at 8 am it was already 45 degrees so it was too warm. And for some reason on the website they said the place was closed, last weekend it was open with 14 trails. I am a snowboarder, and im actually pretty good. Can do fs 3s. For christmas break im going to Sutton, Canada. Last year there was a day where we had 2 and a half foot pow. It was awesome. Can't wait till it starts snowing in Massachusetts like last year. My dad snowblowed all of the snow off the driveway and built it up into a pile that was taller than my basketball hoop. My friends and i turned it into an igloo. Then it collapsed on top. Ahh this brings back lots of memories. I have a bunch of hills where i live. So we build some jumps and hit them. Theres also lots of trees that fall down in the woods so we jib em.

What the hell is the point of going down a slope, hitting a tree, breaking your arm and leg, having the largest garage sale in the history of that resort, and finally smacking your head on a rock, sliding past the rope and sign that says "WARNING! DO NOT ENTER!" and almost falling into a freaking gorge.
