Try to convert all you want, but as long as Im a high ranking member in the guild Im in, and I stay high level, I dont think im going to be converting for a while.

Seriously, World of Warcraft will own all and DAoC is better then FFXI.

I played DAoC for awhile until the uber leet PS came out. I still wish I was older and had a credit card and a job and no football, would be much easier to pay for both.

DAoC is the best MMORPG by far. I suggest you come to this fan site for all you will need:
DAoC Catacombs
You can get advice, find someone to help you get started, get advice on how to spec the class you want to play, and use the character builder to plan your spec out.

I have played DAoC for about 2 years. During that time I have played several other MMOGs and nothing besides Planetside (which is a great change from an MMORPG) made me want to quit DAoC.

Really, whats so different about WoW? The only plus it has over FFXI is its lack of zones.

/edit/ Dont take it wrong..if they reviel something revolutionary, which will r0x the s0x off of FFXI or any other game, ill be there, but as of now, it dosent look that special.
