ppl with G4 cards take a look here

i have a g4 4400 ti 128 ddr meg.....and it runs like shit.

I ran 3d benchmark 2001 and my score came up only in the 7000s and that was on 800x600...I ran it at 1280x960 the score was still in the same area...i played around and testing various settings and all that but still came out in the 7000s...so have if any of you have a g4 card and have ran 3d benchmark can you tell me your scores? i tired madonions hall of fame ..but it didnt give me scores.

ive been in contact with visiontek b.c i know this g4 card is messed up somehow but thyer being idiots about the whole matter and im loosing patience.

btw...my via chipet set drivers will lock up my machine too...but only when i run them with this card. anyone else have these problems?

I don't have one meself (getting one soon) but I think you should be getting at least 10K on the 3d mark as ong as the rest of ur system isn't bottlenecking u.

on my 1700+ (oc'd to 1.6) and my ti4200 I got 11,485 or something in 3dmark2k1 at default settings at 1024x768. Make sure you have the 41.XX drivers installed...and all that via 4in1 crap too. When I had my gf3 ti200 in that same system I was able to get ~8300 :/


I wish I could get 20,000 like those liquid-nitrogen cooled rigs can...

Oh yeah this might seen kinda retarded, but make sure you dont have fsaa on or antiscopic filtering at 8x or something :/

damn it I have a GF 4 MX 440 and I got a 3000 rofl

I know it's not the BEST card but it should do a little better then an overclocked Voodoo 3 (what I have on the other computer, it scored 3560)

I'm still looking for ways to upgrade it but with no luck (like drivers or tweaks)

any tips?

The best way for us to recommend changes is for you to post your full system specs.

For Example:

Win2K Prof.

Also, you could post your 3dmark score from the Online Results Browser so we could see where your system may be lacking.

Yeah and dont be expecting a gf4 to up your 3dmark score by a ton if you're runing some cpu from 2 years ago (if you are, that si) :/
