For people who been on airlines alot and know the rules. I gota question or two.
They ask for license befoer boarding the plane right (even on state to state flights right?)? Well I'm 6'3", 200lbs., and look like a senior in highskool, but i'm only 13. They wont let you on unless they know how old you are. What should I need if they think I'm old and dont have a drivers license? I'm flying alone btw. Second, Its a 2 way trip. Im flying form San Jose to phoenix, switch planes, then fly from there to Orlando and get picked up. On return its a one way trip. Now I wants with the inflight services? (Im flying SouthWest) 1 ride is about 3 hours and the second one is 7. Inflight food, inflight movie, what do I get to keep myself entertained? The only rides Ive been on was a international (15 hours) and whatever the name is for just inside state (1 hour), whats the difference about just throughout the US? Sry if it is confusing to read. Im all jacked up on this.an I only got 2 months before I fly.

6'3, 200 lbs. and 13?!?!?! HS!
Okay, to keep myself entertained, i just look out the window. I don't fly that often, but I've always wanted a pilots liscense and the sort. Even if its just looking at clouds, (and your not flying through Texas ) it's beautiful.

look into getting a state issued ID. Some states you can get this at your local Dept. of Motor Vehicles. I'd call the airline you're flying out on too. Ask about their security policies.

I've had a few rides, lemme tell you.
They'll let you on without a license, your parents may have to escort you past security at the very most, but that's only if they think you're a terrorist. I've flown Southwest, no movies on theirs as far as I know, but they have these snack boxes that are pretty good. Try to sleep, or read a really good book, there isn't much else. You'll be fine an international flight should be all the flying you'll need to experience to know enough about it.

My friend flew in from out of state alone, your parents call the airline and tell them that someone will be picking you up there, and that person has to go and get a boarding pass when they're at the airport, so they can meet you right when you get off the plane, I think school ID is fine.

Some schools don't give ID's. Like mine for example never did. And I still think they don't.

I dont know how flying under 18 works - your on your own there :P
I've flown a bunch of times now, you will be nervous at first its only natural. My first flight I looked out the window the whole time - there is nothing like being above the clouds - and takeoffs rule they are the funnest part of the flight |

My first flight on an airline took me from Wiscosin to San Diego. Then it was off to boot camp. Needless to say, flying over the Grand Canyon was great.

hmm, well, i liked landing the best, nothing like seeing the ground come up. and all the takeoffs i had were through clouds, and only one landing through clouds, that sucked. and im afraid of flying, but you get used to it. all in all, i was so fuckin scared the first two times i read the same magizine on the plane a total of 6 times to keep my mind off of it. all in all, i wish i brought a CD player on the plane, and just jammed out to it, and after a while, you get used to it, and can stare out the window. and as for security, its really tightened with this threat level on High, so expect to get screened.
