Why not just take the $300 you would spend on a water cooling kit and buy a $300 more expensive CPU and get the same result without all the risk and pain? I thought one of the reasons overclocking was so popular was because it was cheap... The only OCing I have done is with my old Celeron 300A OCed from 66mhz bus to 550 with a 100mhz bus, plain heatsink and all.

Thats too small and has half of what ill probly get. Including that radiator! Adn i cant get a better processor unless i spend over 500 more and get the P4 3.2 EE
and im not getting a one nozzle pump. i ahve nothing to submerse it in ^^(i wnat to use the pump as a relay). I just have this obseession to mod it to be half WC half air shit 8) Which if i can find a small curved block (as in the sureface area.) i may be able to make forthe processor. Im not asking about all hte stuff im looking at Just the stuff i needed to ask about to try to get some range of what it will do to not have to waste extra money for when i can OC teh hell out of it As in How much water i need per amount of heat in general or whatever. Ill just buy individual parts and tesing there cooling then adding on over a few months. And im not WCing my CPU per say, if ever at this point 8) Last edited by Ait'al; 2004-01-04 at 03:11 AM. |

Does this mean half of us now are going to have water cooling systems ^^
IM getting http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-pmp-14.html this or http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-pmp-08.html http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-pmp-07.html considered this but you ahve to cut a whole in your computer. But if i think i can do it well i will. http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-pmp-11.html pump http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-blc-30.html FSB http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-blc-60.html Second bus http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-rad-13.html i may get something like this if can afford it. http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-rad-12.html Radiator (requires two 120 MM fans to be bought seperataly.) http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-res-01.html one or two of these. And some anti algae stuff all three of the water dyes for fun and hte anti corrosion stuff i guess. IM using distilled water too to be safe 8). RBSTR you might want to check out Dangerden.com, Its easier to find in a search, but they selll there own products directly form there site and you can look at al there products and new kits including there customizable one where you choose form all there products i think 8) I think i may need a second power supply at this rate but i havent selected it yet or found one that can be soley internal except one on dangerdens site that looked too small.(Im planning heavy expansion later.) http://www.dangerden.com/ |
