What I don't get is people buy a Civic for, what, $25,000? Then will dump $100,000 into crap to make their car fast...
Buy a damn Lingenfelter Corvette... $58,000 for 0-60 in 3.7s, 1/4th mile in 11.7s, 500hp, 480lb-ft of torque, 3300lbs. And it almost looks stock... So when some preppy guy comes out of the golf club in his Porche 911 (which would easily beat a stock vette) you can wooop him down And here is a road test on the Ford GT: http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=4 It does a lot better then what I would have thought... Amazingly it's 0-60 time beats my beloved Lamborghini Murcielago, for $100k less. Enzo Ferrari however, at almost $700,000 does 0-60 in 3.3, and a 1/4th mile in 11.2 But my favorite supercar is the Saleen S7, (the car Jim Carry has in Bruce AllMighty) $400k, 0-60 in 3.3s; 1/4th mile in 11.6, and it looks absolutely incredible |
