There are all kinds of decomissioned missile bases for sale. The reason they mention you could use the silo for scuba diving is because one man DOES use his for that.

He does not give any square footage measurements of the enclosed space... I am curious if it is more or less expensive per sq ft then houses around here. Around here it is about a 3 mil for 14,000 sq feet.

Apon examination of the picture, I have concluded that is the coolest residence, ever. I mean, it's got, what, three silos? You could turn one into a scuba tank, put mirrors on the walls of one, pop the hatch and build an echalon mirror system, turn the powerhouse into a biodome, rofl. I can think of a million things...
