Which is the better game for online play?

I was curious what everyone thought? I am gonna pick up a "new" game this week to help kill time

Wow, they are both great. I love them both and whore like a fool on both of them.

BF- Great game, every thing you could ask for. Except teamplay. If you get this, don't play on an official server, there's no admins. That game is amazing and the expansion pack is only 20 bucks. You HAVE to have high speed internet.

SOF2 - Gruesomely beautiful single player, Fun multi player. CTF is great as is Demolition. Kinda repetitious. Good netcode and balance. New maps are nice for variety. Good game.

I'd say get em both. You can get out of it for 75 - 85 bucks. They are both great, but so different. I love them both. They are both in my top 5 greatest games ever list. I can't tell you which to get. If I had to pick just one, for the multiplayer alone (which isn't fair to SOF2) I'd pick BF1942. Make sure you dl the patches. But, man, SOF2 is great. Use the M16 or Mp5, or AK - trust me.

Those texture packets for Battle of the Bulge are awesome too. First time I played there after instaling them, I kept getting owned cuz I was too busy lookin at all the new pretty pictures

I liked BF1942 more. More ally based play. And vehicles are great. Although the idiot TKers and plane campers are the only thing that ever makes me go WTF?!?!?! and turn it off. Also, I'd rather play SC online the WC3....I always thought they botched that weird new rank system or whatever on Battlenet. So very annoying...Also, it was impossible to set up a large army..Really, very annoying to get more than 15 guys in one group t a time.

They play completely diffrently, but I love them both.

I'd have to say SoF2 though because it's a little more challenging to play.
