Thousands of people think I got my name from "Futurama", a show I never watch, so I dunno how it originated from there. Something to do with planets. I dunno, I just was bored, and thought of a real cool name. Doop.
Then there's Starstorm, which comes from the old SNES RPG, EarthBound. It's a move where you summon stars to beat the living shit out of your enemy. Kromium just comes from time I saw a guy on XBox CS named "Krome". So I named myself "Kromium". Yeah, not original, I know. Then there's Sphynnx, which comes from, you guessed it, the Sphinx. I dunno, the Sphinx is just badass, just sitting there. Sitting there...badass. Then there's Koopa, which I bet you all think are the lil turtles from Super Mario, but no. Back in the NES Super Mario Bros, Koopa was Bowser, the main boss. He looks cool. So I picked him. Then I went back to Doop, because all those names sucked. Go figger.

"AztecSacrificialPriest" was too long for a name in Tribes 2.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
