Just plain the sickest thing I have ever read about...

Sad beyond Sad is this, especially if its even 50% true......... You gotta wonder what makes people do things like this....

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX TUE JAN 21, 2003 17:59:25 ET XXXXX

MAG: 25% OF NEW HIV-INFECTED GAY MEN SOUGHT OUT VIRUS, SAYS SAN FRAN HEALTH OFFICIAL

New ROLLING STONE Managing Editor Ed Needham is set to hit complete controversy with a 4-page report: "Bug Chasers: The Men Who Secretly Long To Be HIV+."

Filed by Greg Freeman, the shock story claims some men with HIV are deliberately having unprotected sex with those who want to be infected!

MORE

"The men who want the virus are called 'bug chasers,' and the men who freely give them the virus are called 'gift givers.' While the rest of the world fights the AIDS epidemic and most people fear HIV infection, this subculture celebrates the virus and eroticizes it," reports Freeman in the February 6, 2003 edition of ROLLING STONE.

At least twenty-five percent of all newly infected gay men fall into [bug-chasing] category, according to one claim in the "special report".

"In this world, the men with HIV are the most desired, and the bug chasers will do anything to get the virus."

Gay groups "aggressively encouraged" Freeman to drop the article.

One sad passage captures a young man in New York City who wants to be infected:

"His eyes light up as he says that the actual moment of transmission, the instant he gets HIV, will be 'the most erotic thing I can imagine.'"

An infector is quoted as saying: "I'm murdering him in a sense, killing him slowly, and that's sort of, as sick as it sounds, exciting to me."

Most AIDS activists prefer to deny the problem exists to any significant extent, says Dr. Bob Cabaj, director of behavioral-health services for San Francisco County and past president of Gay and Lesbian Medical Association. "They don't want to address that this is really going on."

In a gonzo-journalism ROLLING STONE moment, Cabaj claims at least 25% of all newly infected gay men fall into [bug-chasing] category.

I heard all that today on Mike Savage aka The Savage Nation.

Thats one of the most disturbing things I've heard even seems more sick than nuclear war kinda sorta. At least they have a purpose thats understandable(If not agreeable). If that would be true I have a new stereotype to hate and Affirmative Action doesnt cover them I believe.
Get out your Gaydar.
No offense to anyone but thats plain Psycho Sicko, please eat people like Dommer he seems more sane at the moment.

Yeah, I agree, Twisted Sister was the best part of the 80's.

Aaaanyway...

Humans have removed themselves from the natural course of nature, so I think it's only right that we handle natural selection ourselves. In other words, who cares, let them die. Honestly, if they're that screwed up, I don't think I'd want their genes floating around in our gene pool anyway.

Look on the bright side, we will likely kill off most, iff not all, of us with some biological weapon in the next fifteen to twenty years.

The problem with humanity is for the past 20 years (maybe longer) we have slowly let more and more stupid people roam freely.

Warning labels. Get rid of them. Have you ever seen those visors for cars? The ones you put under the windshield, to reflect the sun? Did you ever notice the little warning label? Do not opperate vehicle while visor is in place? COME ON! And you just know the reason the label is there, is because someone DID!

Wonder why the world is full of stupid shit brains and smacktards? Its because we stopped letting the stupid ones KILL THEMSELVES. They're having kids! And those kids are driving cars on the highways, cooking our whopers, and running for political office!
If a kid sees some guy shoot himself in the head and live in a movie, and he goes and tries it himself, then GOOD. Get his genes out of the breeding population!

Save me Jebus!

If something doesn't have a warning label, people will attempt to use that to get money. If a container which holds car oil or windshield wiper fluid didn't have a Poison symbol on it, some greedy little rat would drink a gallon of it, get sick as hell, and then sue the company for a couple million. After all, how the hell was he suppose to know that stuff wasn't good for you?

Warborn good point. It reminds me of that case a long while back where some lady burned herself drinking(I think it was drinking) hot coffee at MacDonalds and won the law suit because there was no label saying hot coffee could burn you.

But to you're other reply yes let them kill each other off. They want it?? Lets give it to them. The Get Aids Shot sold on the shelf at the local Drug Store.

good points. But my point is, (i know i kind of drifted) was that BECAUSE of the last couple decades, we have started putting labels on these things, to stop people form doing it. The problem is, its only been within the last few years, that mankind has gotten "sue-happy". If there had never been labels on things to begin with, we wouldnt be in this predicament.

And Rev, that MacDonald's chick did win, but they repealed it, and she didnt get a dime.

What really gets me, is now some of the families of the DC sniper victims are sueing the manufacturer of the rifle used for some ungodly amount of money. re-goddamn-diculous

Chaos,

The reason the sniper victims are suing the manufacturer, is because of a case in flordia. Some kid STOLE a handgun, and SHOT his teacher. So the the teachers widow SUED the manufacturer because the gun didn't have enough safety features... and she won...
