9800xt. Nvidia cards are currently only DX 8 capable (while the ATIs are DX 9 capable), and will run future DX 9 games at literally half the FPS that an ATI card will.

I've seen the benchmarks, and trust me, if you are planning on playing any DX 9 games either buy an ATI or wait for Nvidia to release a DX 9 card.

You said ATI 9800 xt, but what about the Asus 9800xt?
Which is better; ATI's 9800 xt or Asus's 9800 xt?

Wrong.
Early on, when Nvidia released the first line of GeForce FX Cards, they used their own instructions for Direct X 9, which kinda screwed up. The newer cards are 100% Direct X 9 compatible, and run Direct X 9 games full speed.

They are both the same card, exept the Asus one is more expensive. If you really care about the 2% or so difference in manufacturers, get the Asus. If you want to save money and not notice the difference, get the cheapest 9800XT you can find.

Remember, the card will only perform on how well tweaked your pc is.

Learn how to post in the correct forum as well, this should go in the Tech forum.
