Depends what type of games you like. If you pride yourself on your twitching ability, get ut2k4. If you consider yourself a tactical player with a taste for long periods of camping, get BF:V.

Battlefield Vietnam. Unreal Tournament 2004 is fun, but the insanity-with-guns gameplay can get tiring. Haven't played FarCry multi, yet, but I've heard mixed reviews.

I would say UT2k4, because of the excellent game, the 10'000 gametypes & mutators already ingame and the mods that will come. So you can have BF and UT2k4 in one game

(ps: there are already lots of UT2k3 mods and they also work with ut2k4!)

The handling of the vehicles just rox! But if this wouldn't be a planetside fanpage I also would propose planetside

im installing far cry as i write this, its supposed to have the best single player ever, maybe not as good as halflife, but im pretty sure itll surpass halo

i didnt buy BF:V because there were lots of lag and graphics problems, maybe ill pick it up later when theyre fixed. BF:V is better than UT2k4 in my opinion, im not a fan of UT2k4's fast paced ness.

BF: V hands down

UT2K4 is like for CS players with faster computers. Any game that encourages bunny hopping is shit to me.

I think that Far Cry has the best singleplayer I've ever played. Theres so many things you can do. You can not shoot a bullet and win. Plus the graphics are definitively the best ever made so far. I think only Doom 3 will compare to the engine.

Far Cry looks gorgous, IMO.
Not too keen on UT, thought I guess if you like Battlefield 1942 then you will like Vietnam version (thought I prefer the Desert Storm Mod, love the tanks & the rocket Artillary)

Or just skip them all and get "BREED" <- Looks abit like Planetside, just came out dunno how well it plays, but it does look beautiful, and preview says you can go from orbiting spaceship to planetside battles seemlessly with dropships and tanks....

Hang me for bumping an old thread, but if your PC can run Far Cry's MP it's pretty badass....especially Assault mode.
