Okay baseball fans, opening day is here for real, a few teams got out all ready, but it all starts today.
ESPN2 is showing the Giants at Astros. And seeing as I relaly only care about Houston, I am kicking with a 6 pack and watching my boys. My prediction? A full sweep for the 'Stros. Actually I see them starting 5-0. I see the Cubs failing to meet expectiations, as a matter of fact I don't even see them making the playoffs.

Yankees and Sox cant wait to see how that turns out. sox have a slight edge in starting pitching but the yanks have the upper hand in relieving. our catchers are pretty much equal, since varitek is better at defense and posada is a better hitter. but the yankees overall have a better infield. If the sox are gonna get the world series, it better be this year, because next year all the contracts are up and they'll go to the yankees unless they put a salary cap.
EDIT: I absolutely hate the Astros for stealing my heart, my hero, Roger Clemens. |
