I never knew exactly how OS worked until now. Didn't know about that blue circle around you that you have to place the OS marker in. Now that I think about it, seems kinda obvious, otherwise ppl could OS targets on the other side of the map.
Thanks for the vid bio, I found it informative. As for you other people, sure its "obvious" once you've gotten CR4, but I've never done it before so I really didn't know much other than "you pull out your CUD, place a waypoint thingy and it counts down". I figured it just OSes your personal Waypoint you have set up. Now I know otherwise. |

Most people (unless an infil that is meticulous) do not os using the blue targeting. You know where the ams is, and line it up as best as you can from the map (and you can't zoom in at all ). The drawback is that you might hit that catwalk pretty much wasting your os.
