Environments

I was just wondering if anyone knew about how active environmets will be etc.. and if you can use trees, rocks, debris, etc.. well as cover.
For example getting up in a tree to snipe at people, or chucking 'nades over rocks at people an such.
Also can you use bodies of water inside the continets (lakes, rivers, ponds etc...) to swim or hide in.

aye the tree's walls and rocks can be used for cover.

I don't think you can climb trees but you can use trees, rocks, grass, and things like that as cover. You drown if you go in water I think though. Not sure about that one.

I don't think you can climb up a tree but I see no reason why you can't throw a grenade over a rock... unless the guy/girl has an arm like the guy in RTCW. God he had a girly ass arm lol.

There are all kinds of terrain from Arctic to Volcanic to Forest.

You can hide behind trees, rocks, and foliage. You can kneel and hide in the grasses.

You can not swim, but you can enter the water, to what extent we don't know.

What if you jumped onto a rock or onto a vehicle and from there into the branchs of a tree? Would you stick up there and just look silly?

ok i have another question though, to what extent will the environment react to explosions, gunfire etc.. will tree bark fly or pieces of rock fly off when you shoot it. Has there been a game where trees fall over from explosions? just thought that would be cool.

Well, bullet holes and blasts show on vehicles. That's all I know...I don't think trees would fall or anything like that

You could assume that kind of thing COULD happen to the environment. It happens to buildings too.
