its ok. i didn't really do any proper reserach on common Katana as a whole. Only seen and heard from personal experience that we had a family katana that was blood Tied. That on the 500th one of my relatives had to drip a line of blood along the blade before it was folded up to 1000.
I don't how we got it, and my fathers family isn't exactly wealthy nor can i say "middle class", didn't really ask much about it.
But yes, i doubt all Katana's were made by master craftmen, i mean they had to be mass or at leased basket produced low quality weapons for the bog standard Samurai.
