Indeed, experience 1337 dude style combat with slow boring weapons. feel what it's like to be in a revolutionary army but without the discipline and tactics! Feel the rush of a musketball zooming within 50m of you every 2 minutes!!!!!!!

They had discipline, I mean, they stood in lines and columns so that their enemy wouldn't need to strain to find their next miss. Also, axe-wielding dudes with ponytails running through the trees taking people's heads off.

Don't think it's SO bad: Troops moved in the boxes and all fired at once to achieve a massive barrage of bullets, certain to kill something at least.

I don't think they had bayonets back then..... well not purpose built ones for that matter. I have no doubt that some soldiers would of though of an idea to just jammed a knife into the barrel when they came too close but it was far too early for that tactic.
