He fiddled around with my knee and he said that my Paleta's (sp?) groove that it sits in may be too shallow, and that's why I have near constant dislocations. I got some x-rays took, but he's none the wiser. He's sending me to an even specialer specialist who is a specialist in knee specialisation. Or something.
Cliffs: 1) Doctor trip 2) Doctor says my Paleta might be sitting in a shallow groove 3) Get x-rays, doctor doesn't know, he's sending me to another guy 4) I may have to get surgery on my knee 5) ... 6) No profit yet |

Hezzy, hope all goes well. I have had three knee operations now due to sports related injuries. They are tough, but you can recover fully and in good shape by lots of exercise and a good attitude. I am assuming you are fairly young, so that should be a big help in recovering quickly.
Also, if the docs allow it, maybe get some physical therapy prior to the operation (if it is indeed a necessity) to help with the recovery process afterwards. If you have any questions about what to expect as far as a knee operation, please PM me and I can try and answer them! I am not a doctor, but like I said, I have had a few operations and I can at least share some of the things that go on.
