Help: Credit Card Subscription

Sorry if I am blind but I have not seen where I have to enter my credit card details.

I created a new account and its asking me to put in an activation key in. Is this the key located inside the PlanetSide case? I thought that was for a 30 day trial?

Somebody enlighten me.

It should be in the Launchpad, where you sign in and DL the latest patchs and things like that.

I am not quite sure what you're problem is here. If you are currently on a trial subscription then you need to buy the full game in order to keep playing. Once you buy the full game then the account key will be on the planetside cd case. There will be a sticker right on the front that says "acctkeycode" and some long ass alphanumeric key.

You need to have an account key in order to put in your credit card info and continue playing.

I purchased PlanetSide. I was unsure whether or not to enter that key in because I wasn't sure if it was a 30 day trial or not. I don't want to use the 30 day trial untill I get some more RAM.

So what you are saying is that once I enter that key I am able to enter in my credit card details?

well when you purchase planetside and enter the account key, you automatically get your first 30days for free which is the 30day trial they advertise on the box. Once you enter the key you will have your subscription and then you can enter all your payment details (ie credit card number) and they will start charging you after your first 30 free days

The CD-key in my box is printed on a sticker just above where the CD is held saying: Planetside Key Code. But seeing as I live in the UK and the distributor over here is Ubisoft I'm not sure if it will be the same if you live in the US.

Do you have to enter payment details during the activation or can it be done at a later date when still using that key?

You have to enter all your payment details during activation. They can always be cancelled before the end of your 30day trial but they must be there in order to start playing

I am making 2 accounts for myself and a friend. So in total I will be doing 2 payments per month.

So what I have to do is, make my account with the key in my case. And then create a new account using the key in my friends case? Is that correct?

yup, your friend must use his own account.
