Now they say it will turn...exactly how they come to this conclusion baffles me. They said Charley was going to hit Tampa, and it hit the south of Florida...

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

That is the most ludicrous statement I've seen on PSU for a long, long time.
Meterologists aren't psychics. The best they can do is have an extensive knowledge of the history of weather, weather phenomena and how the factors of weather (i.e. convection) work. For example, I know that a rising parcel of saturated air is a good indicator that there will be a thunderstorm. But I can't see into the future, so I don't know that the parcel of air will become convective activity. It's like saying a car mechanic is an idiot because he didn't tell you last week when you had your oil changed, that you were going to be rearended a week from now.
