Most people who came to Alpha were adults with full-time jobs. Getting Friday off is one thing, getting an entire week off is a different ballgame. Also, the cost for the event would be double or triple what it was for Alpha.

School is also a factor (at least, it was for me.) I missed two days of school (including two days of my college history class (which also included an exam.))
I'm hoping I won't be missing school next year, either. I get two weeks off in October, so I will definately be suggesting those days when the time comes to vote on when PSU:MB will happen. Either that, or during the summer before school starts. We shall see.

Well, I sould like to get to a PSU:M some day. But currently being overseas (Okinawa, Japan) makes it difficult. But for Bravo, I'll be just getting to Virginia around that time frame, so it goes out the window as well. Maybe I'll have better luck for Charlie, if it happens.

Yea, it stinks. Been here for about 8 months now, and haven't been able to play much Planetside because there's no broadband where I'm currently at (maybe in another few weeks it'll be here). Last weekend was the first time I got in about 6 months, and I went over to a friend's house to do it.

I've been around PS for a year now, but only recently signed up for the PSU forums. I'm not heavily active (posting) on the official forums. I primarily just read the Dev tracker and tech support forum. And I post heavily on my outfit forum (The only outfit I was able to stay active with when I left for Japan).

Are you stationed there, living there, or just Japanese?

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Stationed here. It's not too bad here, just that I haven't had a lot of time to go and take advantage of some of the site seeing opportunities here. And I've been told that Okinawa has some of the best SCUBA diving in the world (which I'd like to do, but haven't had enough free time yet to get the classes).
