Actually, I expect HL2 to not live up to expectations and S.T.A.L.K.E.R to win as the dark horse.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Damn fine game, a few old "friends" do return and yes there is an Elite campaign. Unfortunately the game is pretty short unless you play on Heroic or Legendary.
The marines are basically my new friends, New Mombasa is a level but it's been completely redone and has a cooler intro movie. |

I will do it on Heroic as soon as I finish the game, I just wasn't sure how balanced the weapons were. Normal is good enough for me.
Oh and when I clicked on Xbox Live in the menu and started the Troubleshooter, it updated my console with XBL, do I still need the Start Kit or am I able to quickly buy an Ethernet cable and get started? Last edited by Octavian; 2004-11-08 at 09:15 PM. |

I just got it and after I eat im gonna go play it. I actually had to go to school.
My friend preordered it and i went there and there were billions of copies. There really was no need. Funny thing is they didn't ask him for ID and even gave him the extra buck he was missing. But to me they made my mom show her ID. Twats. You should have seen us in the car.

fuck boarding school, my brother picked up my copy today at EB Games, and IMed me a few minutes ago to tell me he almost ejaculated over how awesome it is.
I fear that when I start playing, I won't stop, and any plans I had for the weekend will go to shit. |
