Cable Prices

I was looking at the various cable packages in my area and I disovered the rape:

Standard Cable N/A Popular Cable Channels $43.50
Basic Cable N/A Great Local Channels $12.10

Look at that jump from basic to standard, what the hell is that all about? That is what I catagorize as rape. The plans go up to just under 100$/mo

I pay $39.95 /mo for awesome cable. Do bad I cant take advantage of it because my PC loses connection to my router often because it's so far from the router.

I'm not gonna complain to much.. right now Comcast is giving us Standard cable for the price of Basic. Not really sure why

For a while around here, we got cable for free due to a computer mistake. Too bad they eventually wised up....

Know how you feel. Brighthouse is the only cable provider in our area, so each month for cable internet and standard (i.e. more than 4 channels) cable = $92.50

My bumhole hurts everytime I pay that bill

Meh, I think I pay $140/month for internet, digital cable, hbo, and 250+ channels. yeah, it sucks.

Don't worry... eventually it'll jump up to $50 dollars monthly for cable TV...

We pay 105 dollars monthly for Cable TV alone (2 boxes) and another 10 dollars to rent the modem.

I pay the same for more channels, plus I got 4 boxes, for free.
