haha, i'm not sure any of you understand how totally sweet the scion is.
planetary continuously variable transmission, and .. all those computers & LCDs... it's mad fun. anyway, trig picked up some jetta horror stories, so we're thinking about forgetting the VW options. we're revisiting the coooper (yeah, full circle).

Alright, so this just in.
We're thisclose to scrapping the Jetta idea altogether, and thisclose to signing the papers to acquire a Mini-Cooper. I'll deal with the lack of cargo space. High resale value on the Mini and none of the maintenence bullshit we've heard about the other models we've looked at. We're still going to look at the different Scion models just so we've covered all the bases, but for now we've got another recon mission planned to Orlando for this weekend to "seal the deal" if that's what we decide. EDIT: Damn, he beat me to it

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Scions are leet. But I think you guys should consider an old Ford Pinto. For the same amount that it would cost you to buy 1 new car. You can get several dozen (I'm dead serious) Pintos. That way, when one explodes, you can just use the next one and so on and so forth.

It's a Scion.
By buying one, you succumb to evil CEOs who insist on making "EXTREME" and "hip" cars for the generation-Y youth that "doesn't want the car their parents drive." If you want one, get a Toyota. Or a Saturn.
