When will PS come to an end?

When do you think Sony will cut off Planetside for good? It's obvious the game isn't heading in the right direction, and they are losing players. I give it another 9 months.

1-2 years... I actually figured out why planetside was made. It is a front for EQ2. Thonk about it, they dont advertise PS, but they spend tons of money on EQ2... just a thought

and the sexily AWESOME new lead designer, I'd say for a year or two

If the devs do all of the above, I'd say it's hard to tell...possibly 2-3 years.

(I'm reinstalling it right now because, frankly, I'm bored with CS:S. You can only anniahlate so many people until you get bored. PS was fun, it gave me a challenge, you had to work to kill tanks and the air stuff. BFR's killed that challenge...screw completing the god damn rock-paper-scissors cycle! Tanks, Air , and Infantry were the cycle, now we got BattleTech invading our precious Auraxis! Or at least nerf them..)

Thats the one thing the game has going for it and will give it longevitey....eventually another company is going to do the MMOFPS with vechs...and that should give it the death blow.

It will last until Blizzard comes out with a Starcraft MMOFPS, or Games Workshop has someone do a WH40k MMOFPS.
